STUDENTS

WELCOME

At Freedom, we believe in raising up the next generation to become all God has created them to be. We want to create an environment where students can encounter God, connect with others, and align their lives with His mission. Our heart is to see students meet Jesus, grow in their faith, and influence the culture and community around them.

Top 5 things you need to know.

  • Our team is intentional about connecting with students and connecting students to each other during our weekend services.

The best way for your students to get connected with other students and leaders at Freedom is to join a student small group.

  • We do our best to create environments where students can encounter God, connect with others, and align their lives with His mission.

Some weekends our students will meet up for free coffee at Caffeinated, or we might meet up for pizza and bowling after church. There’s always something going on!

  • We believe spiritual growth happens best within the context of relationships. That’s why our goal is to connect each student in a healthy small group where they have a safe place to be themselves, process their doubts and ask questions, get encouragement, and discover how they can apply what they’re learning to their everyday lives.

We offer groups throughout the year. Go to our Small Groups page to learn more.

  • We encourage our students to get on a Serve Team where they can begin to discover and use their God-given gifts to serve others. Whether they serve in a kid’s classroom on the weekends or with a group in the community, our students get to participate in the work of the local church. This is why we do not have Freedom Students services on the weekends – we want them to serve!

  • We hope to be an influence in the life of your kids. However, we know that we aren’t the ONLY influence. In fact, students are only here at church for up to 0.6% of their year. That means that 99.4% of that time they are with someone else. Fortunately, a lot of that time is spent with you, their parents, which means you have a greater influence on your kids than we do. But we want to help!

We believe that two combined influences can have a much greater impact than just separate influences. In other words, we are better together. When we are on the same page, pulling in the same direction and saying the same things, imagine what we can do together for your kids.

We want to help you grow and take steps in your relationship with God!
